Gara M. Sliwka

Gara Sliwka concentrates her practice in the areas of insurance defense, D&O liability, and commercial litigation. She has defended brokers, financial planners, insurance agents and other financial professionals in both State and Federal court and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority.

Ms. Sliwka graduated cum laude from the University of Michigan and graduated cum laude from the University of Wisconsin Law School. Ms. Sliwka is the 2006 recipient of the Abner Brodie Award for Outstanding Achievement in Legal Study and Practical Application of the Law. Ms. Sliwka is also a member of the Wisconsin State Bar Association and the Chicago Bar Association and is admitted to the bar in both Illinois and Wisconsin.
